We worked alongside TFA to develop the FF&E concept for the entire college which included sourcing and designing products that met their brief.
Part of the brief was to supply and develop products that could stand the test of time. Workform developed new classroom tables with solid core tops and seating specifically for the project.
We managed the entire logistics and installation process, and successfully handled haulage and customs clearance for 18 containers travelling to a remote region in Armenia. Internationally recognised, we are proud to have been recognised by the client as the MVC (most valuable contractor) across all trade’s during the campus construction project.
Tim Flynn Architects was commissioned to masterplan a campus for an international boarding school to house 650 pupils. Initially the site comprised ten hectares of land, but as the ambition and size of the school grew, the masterplan was developed further and the school site currently sits on 88 hectares.
Phase 1 of the masterplan includes the main academic building, sports centre, two boarding houses, a multi-function centre, technical buildings, medical centre, security gatehouse and maintenance facilities. Playing fields, tennis courts and soft landscaping throughout invigorate the area while an apple and pear orchard, once in decline, has been replanted and replaced.
In 2015, construction for Phase 2 of the masterplan had commenced. The development includes three further boarding houses, staff accommodation and the Performing Arts Centre (PAC), an international standard concert hall seating 650 audience members – was completed in 2018. In addition to this, a flexible theatre space seating 250 people, a dance studio and music school including individual practice rooms and a main dining hall accommodating the entire school was built.
