UBM, a business-to-business media company, recently relocated to 240 Blackfriars Road in central London.
The iconic building was designed by award-winning architect Allford Hall Monaghan Morris and is located on the crossroads that connect Waterloo, London Bridge, Blackfriars and Southwark stations. The development offers sweeping city views and fantastic amenities.
We were approached by UBM and asked to work alongside leading designer Gensler to develop a cohesive FF&E scheme that would meet the project brief.
The Workform team worked closely with manufacturing partners Prooff and Tecno to source and select a customised furniture package for UBM HQ. This included The Tenco Pons modular sofa shown here with a Calacutta Oro Marble coffee table, standard seat, and backrest finish in Acqua AU0634 Cape Verde leather. The backless seat is finished in Kvadrat Remix 2 933 fabric.
Prooff Ear Chairs are situated on every level of the new office space. They have been positioned facing the glass exterior overlooking the Thames to make the most of the stunning city views. This provides quiet working areas and collaborative spaces for staff, helping to create a calm, productive environment.
