74 – Pin Yard, Leeds Mixology North22 Project of the Year Finalist: Living Interiors
Workform contributed to the furnishing of the amenity spaces at The Pin Yard. The new-build, 12-storey building in Leeds is located south of the River Aire and within close proximity to the recognised region of Holbeck Urban Village, where the area’s characteristics and history play host to the design inspiration and overall story for the proposed concept.
The overall architecture of the 216-home scheme, crafted by The Harris Partnership, includes an external courtyard and a basement level carpark. Luxeform’s involvement focused on the interior design of the 2000 sqft ground floor amenity space. This space combines residential areas with a double-height entrance lobby, reception area, social co-working spaces, and a fitness gym.
A collection of unique artwork which mimics classic fabric patterns using industrial textile parts and machinery, to reference the areas history, whilst also subtly incorporating Grainger and Pin Yard logos and details. Colours are chosen to match the interior design style palette.
