Asona provides materials for sound absorption and isolation. The company can make clubs inaudible to the outside world or considerably diminish the noise on a factory floor. Acoustic ceilings play a major part in this. These same ceilings have also been installed in the office of Asona.
Because the company wants to show off how well the ceiling works, the furniture in the office has to have no sound-absorbing qualities of its own.
That is why they selected minimalistic furniture from Lensvelt: white desks by Not A Big Thing, well known for its slender design; a big table named AVL Workbench; and a whole lot of white Stealth cabinets by Wiel Arets, which have a large capacity and provide enough storage space to make even the drawer units for employees unnecessary.
Hans Lensvelt: “It’s a beautiful building. The spacious office with the green, wide view is perfectly proportioned, not stuffed full of nonsensical stuff. There is a lot of space, and space is a luxury. I’m very proud of this interior.”
